VOTE: Where is the best place to hike in Atlanta? | Best of Atlanta

Unlike public pools and amusement parks, nature doesn’t close when the temperatures fall.

Although it’s tempting to stay inside when there’s a chill in the air, studies have shown being outside can reduce stress and lower your heart rate.

Atlanta residents are fortunate, because we have places to commune with nature that are within — or not far outside — the city limits.

This week’s Best of Atlanta poll wants to know: Where is the best place to hike in Atlanta?

Arabia Mountain (DeKalb)
Cascade Springs Nature Preserves (Intown)
East Palisades (North Fulton)
Kennesaw Mountain (Cobb)
Little Mulberry Park (Gwinnett)
Melton Park (DeKalb)
Silver Comet Trail (Cobb)
Stone Mountain (DeKalb)
Sweetwater Creek State Park (Cobb)
