Maggie, the Magistrate Court ChatBot,
Enhances Court Reach and Improves Customer Service
Under Chief Magistrate Judge Cassandra Kirk’s leadership, the Magistrate Court of Fulton County has worked diligently to create an environment where community members are informed, engaged, and empowered throughout the Court processes. As the national pandemic and statewide judicial emergencies have created confusion for court users, the Magistrate Court paired with TextGov, a court technology leader, to stand up the most productive chatbot that TextGov provides court systems across the state.
“Our chatbot Maggie has been able to handle over 15,000 conversations in the past year. That has allowed our administrative staff more time to assist with complicated issues,” said Chief Magistrate Judge Cassandra Kirk.
Maggie, the Chatbot, handled 79% of the conversations directly. From the over 15,000 conversations last year, only 1,026 tickets were submitted, and only 245 requested a transfer to a member of the court administrative team to get their questions answered. Maggie is available 24X7, enabling constituents to get immediate answers to their Magistrate Court questions.
“Judge Kirk is a leader in adopting innovative technologies like Maggie the ChatBot to improve customer service and efficiency in the court,” said Steve Handel, Managing Partner TextGov.
