Jussie Smollett Enters Plea of 'Not Guilty' at Arraignment

Jussie Smollett entered a plea of not guilty in court today, THR reports.

The Empire actor was indicted on 16 felony counts of disorderly conduct for allegedly lying to police of the hate crime he reported.

Police revealed that they believe Jussie staged the hate crime over his Empire salary.

He will next be in court on April 17. We’ll update with more information on this story when it becomes available.
