The country has entered the home stretch and the voting ballot is more important than ever before. As the nation listened to the final debate last week and each candidate made their final push to acquire the advantage in the polls, we still must contend with the upticks of the coronavirus and handle the matter of a diminished economy. President Donald Trump implies that he has a plan to deal with these situation as they are, but what is that actual plan? Wait for it, wait for it…silence from the White House. Yes, I’m waiting to hear it also.
The former Vice-President recommends the need to deal with it based on the recommendations of science and experts who support courses of action the promote the current practices of mask wearing and social distancing. The need to shut down a nation is not the prescription of this candidate, but to introduce actions that will allow the economy to reopen responsibly. Each state’s leader will need to have resources in place to provide protocols that protect the American worker, teacher, business owner, etc.

It was mentioned in the final debate that a vaccine will be ready within weeks, but the President’s own advisors and inner circle state that it will not be available until the middle of 2021. If this is the case, then why is there conflict in stories between the President and his own administration? It seems to be a ploy to mislead the nation into believing that we are “rounding the curve” when the numbers state the exact opposite.

Leaders across the nation in states where increases are occurring are taking another look at the spikes with great concern. Over 79,000 new cases arose nationwide with still no answer to respond and combat it. With worsening conditions still projected to come within the winter months, leaders in all areas must take into account the number of deaths that still rise and create internal protocols to be implemented until a real plan is submitted with solid projected results. Remember, we are still pushing the envelope at 1,000 deaths a day and it needs to stop.
Crisis appears from each side of the country, especially from the west coast. Fires blazing in the mountain forests of California and spreading to Colorado with lethal results exacerbates the need for good crisis management and crisis leadership. With the spread of this calamity, leadership at the highest level should provide exponential resources to the region to mitigate its expansion. The question is are we able to deal with multiple crises with the ambition to minimize each one simultaneously? That remains to be seen.

As mentioned in the beginning, we are in the home stretch of the Presidential election and your decision of who will run the country as its lead representative is critical. What will be our future? Determining who will express and exemplify your values as an American will demonstrate to the world what we think as a nation and how we relate to other cultures. If you have not voted for the candidate you feel represents your respective views, then I urge you to do it now. Never set in your mind that your opinion, voice, or vote doesn’t matter. Nothing could be further from the truth. If you believe you have no say, when something happens because of a decision made at the executive level, you have no right to say anything in response. The leader in the executive branch works for you.

You’ve heard each candidate present their case and you know where each man stands. If you are a citizen and believe you know what is in your best interest and have chosen the person to represent you, then ensure your voice is expressed. Remember some of the topics; COVID-19, the economy, healthcare, racism, etc.? This is what you are deciding on. Make your choice.

Westside Gunn Laughs At Eminem’s Lack Of “WMTS” Promotion

Eminem’s Shady Records empire has undergone a drastic change since its heydey in the early millennium. Recall a time when 50 Cent, D12, and Obie Trice represented the label with albums like Get Rich Or Die Tryin’, D12 World, and Cheers, all of which featured a heavy presence from Slim Shady himself. Today, Em feels far less removed from the label that bears his name, despite its roster boasting the impressive lineup of Boogie, Westside Gunn, and Conway — all of whom have released projects within the past two years.

And while it was Westside Gunn’s Who Made The Sunshine that marked the most recent Shady Records release, Eminem’s involvement in the album was all-but-nonexistent. That’s not to say Gunn needed or even wanted a Slim feature, but he likely could have benefitted from the legendary rapper’s gargantuan reach. Especially since his temperature toward Shady Records hasn’t always been the most favorable. It’s not entirely uncommon to see him voicing his frustration with the label, especially over matters of exposure and promotion.

Over the weekend, Gunn once again found himself unable to contain his innermost feelings of annoyance. Following Eminem’s Instagram post prompting Alchemist’s brand new album The Food Villain, one of Em’s followers called the rapper out for neglecting to post about Gunn’s Shady debut. Gunn himself slid through to issue a response, albeit entirely emoji-based, that paints a vivid picture of his temperament: three crying-laughter emojis followed by three “shhhh” emojis. In other words, yep, but we don’t talk about that.

It’s unfortunate to see that Griselda’s Shady stint hasn’t always been the most harmonious, especially given how dominant the Buffalo label has been this year. Here’s hoping that things can change for the better upon the release of Conway’s Shady Records debut God Don’t Make Mistakes. In the meantime, be sure to go check out Westside Gunn’s Who Made The Sunshine right here.

NBA Youngboy Investigated Over Alleged Brutal Assault

Youngboy Never Broke Again is one of the biggest things in music and, one of the reasons why his fans connect with him so much is because of his authenticity. It feels like the 21-year-old artist is still living his regular life, not making it far out of the streets despite having loads of money.

As his music continues to gain him favor within the music industry, with his consistency being second-to-none, NBA Youngboy cannot seem to stay out of trouble with the police.

This week, it’s being revealed that a current investigation into the rapper is happening in Texas after a man was sent to the hospital following a studio session with YB.

According to TMZ, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office in Texas is presently looking into Youngboy Never Broke Again as a suspect in a brutal assault case.

The man who was assaulted alleges that he and his girlfriend went to the studio to work on music with YB but that, when they arrived, they were told that no women were allowed inside the building. The man’s girlfriend left. When the alleged victim walked in solo, he made his way to the garage, where Youngboy and his team allegedly beat the crap out of him. They placed a bag over his head and proceeded to stomp him out, kicking and punching him.

The victim managed to get the bag off of his head for a moment, where he recognized NBA Youngboy as one of his attackers. He also says that he noticed a body bag in the room and, when he asked why it was there, the crew told him that they were going to put him inside of it.

The report reads that, after that point, YB hopped on FaceTime with his manager, who told the rapper to let the guy go because he had just beaten one case and didn’t need more trouble.

Somebody was then allegedly ordered to drop the man off in front of his house. Once he was dropped off, his mother and girlfriend brought him to the hospital.

He had bruises on his legs and cuts on his face, but his injuries were not life-threatening.

The alleged assault took place on October 5.

Thus far, Youngboy Never Broke Again has not commented on these allegations.

DK Metcalf’s Hustle Becomes The Stuff Of Legend

When DK Metcalf was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks, football fans knew he was about to be special. His large stature makes him a physically dominating presence on the field and he has the wide receiver skills to match. He has turned into one of Russell Wilson’s favorite targets and it has largely been a pleasure to watch him play week in and week out.

Last night, during a game against the Arizona Cardinals, Metcalf became a viral sensation on social media thanks to what he was able to do on a Cardinals interception. In the clip below, Wilson turned the ball over to Budda Baker who had a clear path for a touchdown. That was until Metcalf kicked it into high-gear and chased him down, leading to a tackle before the team could eve get in the end zone. It was a spectacular play that shocked Baker.

“I was running, and next thing you know, I see big 14 coming after me,” Baker said to reporters. “He got me. That’s the first time I’ve ever been hawked in my entire life.”

Fans were quick to give the play the meme treatment as they marveled at what Metcalf had done. Chasing down a player like Baker is no easy task, and at the time, it helped save the game for the Seahawks. Despite the play, however, Metcalf and the Seahawks lost in overtime by a score of 37-34.
