LeBron James’ Championship-Winning Shoe Gets Official Look

When LeBron James won the NBA championship last night with the Los Angeles Lakers, he was wearing the Nike LeBron 18. LeBron had been wearing this silhouette for much of the playoffs so it only made sense that he would sport it throughout the NBA Finals, as well. In Game 6 specifically, LeBron wore an all-orange colorway called “Melon Tint” that stood out on the court. Fans immediately took notice of these and there was some chatter on social media about a potential release.

Today, Nike created even more rumblings as they released official images of the shoe. As you can see, the entire sneaker features the orange knitposite look that fans fell in love with last night. The LeBron 18 silhouette is quite similar to the LeBron 17, except with a bit of a lower profile to it. With this mind, the bright orange looks great on the silhouette, and if you’re looking for something that will make people notice you on the court, then definitely give these a second look.

For now, it remains to be seen whether or not these will actually be released, so keep it locked to HNHH as we will be sure to give you all of the latest updates.

Lil Wayne Shares Throwback Pic With Kobe Bryant To Celebrate Lakers Win

Last night, the Lakers beat the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals, taking home the Larry O’Brien championship trophy while LeBron James was named this year’s MVP. It was a historical moment, given the times we’re in and the devastating loss of Kobe Bryant earlier this year. The championship felt like a win that the Lakers needed this year and its massive fanbase would agree with that sentiment.

As many took to the ‘gram to celebrate the Lakers’ win in the Bubble, Weezy F. Baby hit the ‘Gram to commemorate yet another championship. There’s no doubt that he had a close relationship with Kobe, naming the late legend his favorite player of all time, above Lebron James and Michael Jordan. The rapper shared a photo of himself and Kobe Bryant together holding the Larry O’Brien and pointing at the camera. Despite Miami’s loss, Lil Wayne quoted 305 legend DJ Khaled to celebrate the Lakers taking in the championship, writing, “And another one!”

The Lakers’ win last night was met with celebration from NBA players and rappers alike. Snoop Dogg took to Instagram after the Lakers won declaring that he wants his money immediately. Needless to say, there are a lot of Lakers fans who got paid off of last night’s game.

Check out Lil Wayne’s Instagram post below.

Benny The Butcher Shares “Burden Of Proof” Cover & Release Date

Though the Griselda roster runs the risk of thinning come 2021, unlike Conway and Westside Gunn, Benny The Butcher has yet to foreshadow his own retirement. In fact, he’s currently in the midst of preparing for his official debut album Burden Of Proof, executive produced by Hit-Boy and sure to boast a slew of impressive guest appearances. Case in point, we’ve already seen lead single “Timeless” arrive last Friday, complete with verses from both Lil Wayne and Big Sean.

Now, Benny has taken to social media to confirm the release date of his upcoming project, and it’s coming out sooner than initially expected. “I made my presence felt in this rap shit to do tht,” he captions, unveiling the simple but effective album cover. “I had to make the moves they didn’t want me to make and learn the shit they didn’t want me to know This one feel like a celebration for street ni*gas… Buffalo I got us we goin up a level BURDEN OF PROOF 10-16.”

Expect Benny to share the complete tracklist later this week, and if his past work (and standing among fellow lyricists) is any indication, don’t be surprised to see some serious heavy-hitters scattered throughout. And while he’s already proven himself time and again, it should certainly be interesting to see how Benny fares on his biggest project yet — do you think Burden Of Proof has the potential to be one of the year’s best efforts?

JaVale McGee Taunts Giannis Antetokounmpo After Brother Wins Title

JaVale McGee didn’t get playing time in the NBA Finals although he certainly made big contributions for this team throughout the season, especially in the Western Conference Finals against the Denver Nuggets. Last night, he picked up his third NBA title and his first with the Lakers organization. After the game, he took to Instagram to show off the post-game festivities, just like many of his teammates did.

Perhaps his funniest act came at the expense of Giannis Antetokounmpo. During the season, Giannis claimed to have taken the crown from LeBron James, only to be eliminated in the second round. The great irony here is that Giannis’ younger brother Kostas is actually a member of the Lakers roster, despite virtually never seeing the court. With all of this in mind, McGee decided to taunt Giannis as his brother held the Larry O’Brien trophy. Mcgee could be heard saying “yall talking about the Greek Freak, [Kostas] the first one winning. He the first one with a ring.”

Considering Giannis has been struggling to sustain playoff success with the Milwaukee Bucks, he will certainly be a little ticked off by McGee’s Instagram conduct. Either way, he can’t be too mad as it will only help motivate him to go get that ring.

As for Kostas, sometimes it pays to be in the right place at the right time.
